Arinda Macklean is an experienced communication officer with extensive knowledge of media and public relations writing, high integrity, and skills in digital advocacy, communication, research and policy data analysis and documentation. She has wide-ranging experience in leading digital marketing teams and has been part of several groups doing digital advocacy through the use of social media and creating marketing campaigns for both private sectors and government entities such as Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), Harris International, Care Uganda, Unwanted Witness, Action Aid, and Marie Stopes Uganda.
Arinda Macklean holds a bachelor's degree in Microfinance at Kyambogo University.
