Ambrose Kibuuka Mukiibi

Mr. Ambrose Kibuuka Mukiibi is a specialist in Human Performance Systems. He wields vast experience as a practitioner in participatory training, consulting and research methodologies like Appreciative Inquiry, Open Space Technology, Scenarios Building, and Action Learning. Since 2001, he has undertaken over 100 consultancy assignments with a variety of organizations locally and internationally, including UN Agencies, Government Departments, Local and International NGOs, Banks, Private Sector Firms, Church establishments, Universities, and other educational institutions. Between 2000 and 2005, he taught at Uganda Martyrs University where he also served as Deputy Director of the Centre for Extra Mural Studies and Distance Learning as well as the founding Head of the Department of Good Governance and Peace Studies. He championed a number of initiatives that remain a hallmark of that University. Prior, he served as the pioneer Community Development Officer for Lugazi Catholic Diocese (1997-1999). The rare combination of his passion, vast experience, deep insights, and hands-on approach awakens individuals and organizations to their untapped potential and inspires them to operate at peak levels. He is an Associate Consultant with Success Africa and the Institute of Advanced Leadership.

He is also an author of two books on youth empowerment (After University, What Next? and Remaking the Youth) and has written extensively as well as developed tools in various subjects within his consulting spectrum.
